Lufthansa to Launch Game-Changing Personalized Travel Experience in 2024

Imagine boarding a flight and being welcomed with a personalized travel experience that caters to your individual needs and preferences. That’s exactly what Lufthansa’s new personalized business and first class experience promises to offer travelers, making it a game-changer in the airline industry.

With its focus on customization and personalization, Lufthansa’s personalized business class experience is set to redefine the way we travel. From bespoke menus to personalized in-flight entertainment and lighting options, this new service is designed to provide passengers with the ultimate travel experience.

With a 2.5 billion euro investment over the next two years, Lufthansa is celebrating the post-pandemic travel boom by upgrading its product and service, starting with its newly delivered Airbus A350s, as part of its new long-haul product, Lufthansa Allegris.

Travellers today are looking for more control over their schedule, and the new redesign is meeting these demands by offering the most comfortable, spacious and personalized travel experience possible. The collaboration with London-based design studio Pearson Lloyd has resulted in seven distinct seat types, each with direct aisle access and varied styles of seating, catering to the different ways travellers intend to spend their time in the clouds.

Business class passengers can now settle into individual suites, surrounded by chest-high walls offering privacy. The one-two-one cabin configuration means that sliding doors open up to the aisle, causing as little disruption to other passengers as possible. New business class suites also feature 27-inch monitors, personal minibars and wardrobe-style cabinets.

But that’s not all. Lufthansa Allegris now offers the option to tailor the flying experience to every passenger. Whether travelling with a little one or seeking a good night’s sleep before a meeting, passengers can choose from suites that house baby bassinets or those that open up to extra-long 2.2 metre beds for a comfortable rest.

If you’re a frequent traveller, why not create a dedicated co-working space in the sky? It’s possible to connect two suites together and create a private space in the heart of the cabin, providing flexibility and choice like never before.

Lufthansa’s first class has also been given a makeover. The airline’s ‘suite plus’ cabins offer ceiling-high walls, closable doors, a large table for working and dining, and two wide seats that come together to form a double bed. But what sets these suites apart is their individuality. Every guest has their own understanding of premium, and Lufthansa has focused on maximum individuality and exclusivity to make every passenger feel special.

The airline has taken a truly collaborative approach to the development of Lufthansa Allegris, launching its ‘CoCreationHub’ to involve customers in the process of generating new ideas and delivering valuable feedback. This means that the meticulously designed cabins offer something different for every passenger, recognising evolving travel needs.

But Lufthansa Allegris isn’t just about personalised travel experience, it’s also about simplicity. The guiding principles in the development of this new long-haul product were ‘choice’ and ‘simplicity’, making it easy for customers to tailor their travel experience to their specific needs.

The new long-haul product will be introduced on the Boeing 787-9 by the end of 2023, while the Airbus A350-900 will be the first to introduce the new First Class in early 2024. More than 100 new Lufthansa Group aircraft will be equipped with the new long-haul product, with existing Boeing 747-8s being retrofitted with Allegris.

Lufthansa is taking the passenger experience to a new level, and it’s set to be a game-changer for travellers. From comfort and space to a truly personalised travel experience, Lufthansa Allegris is redefining luxury air travel. Get ready to fly in style and experience air travel like never before!
